Market relaunching with 'fresh festival-style' look in historic town centre
Discover North Walsham has revealed plans for a Sunday market series that will "drive visitors from across Norfolk and beyond and generate real footfall" to the town.
North Walsham Town Council is behind the fully funded revival of the historic market, with the first events scheduled to take place on March 29, April 26 and May 31 in the high street.

"The objective is to create a destination event for north Norfolk," explained a spokesman for Discover North Walsham.
"The High Street will be reimagined as a busy, festival-style market space.
"Visitors can expect artisan and independent traders, specialist street food and drinks, live music and performance, creative and lifestyle retail and a lively, welcoming town centre atmosphere.
"Visitors will arrive at a town that is clean, welcoming and ready to impress, with clear signposting, printed town maps, a new website and bold vinyl wraps on empty shop units."
Applications for stall holders are open until March 14, with all submissions reviewed after the closing date to ensure a "high-quality and varied line-up".
