Police raise concerns about new housing in fast-growing Norfolk town

The intervention by Norfolk Constabulary was sparked by proposals for 100 new homes in Attleborough, which are due to be determined by Breckland Council next week.

The force told the authority that the development will mean its current resources in the town would be no longer be "fit for purpose".

The town has already been earmarked for several large housing schemes including 4,000 properties
