Pleas over flooding 'exacerbated' by care home development dismissed

North Norfolk District Council's planning committee has approved revised plans for the redevelopment of Sheringham House, in Cremers Drift, in Sheringham.

The proposals were originally given the green light more than seven years ago and the 62-bed complex has already been partially completed with some apartments sold.

The new application sought permission to revise the drainage strategy for the scheme but locals urged the council to instruct the developers to take their plans back to the drawing board again.
