Debate on future of walk-in centre descends into bickering and 'personal attacks'
The discussions at City Hall this week became heated while members raised concerns about the potential closure of the centre in Rouen Road as part of cuts to primary care.
While councillors were unanimous in their support for the centre, the debate became side-tracked after accusations were flung at Mike Stonard, leader of the council, regarding his involvement in the financial turmoil surrounding the service.
