Councillor sacked from cabinet after breaking ranks over reorganisation
The removal of Stuart Beadle as cabinet member for planning at Broadland Council was announced at a recent meeting.
Mr Beadle, a self-described "troublemaker", had called for cross-county options to be considered when drawing up new political boundaries for the region.
Norfolk's eight councils all face abolition, with new authorities created to replace them, as part of the Labour government's devolution and reorganisation plans.
