The University of East Anglia is being forced to put around 170 jobs at risk after it learned it would need to make a further £11m of savings from its budget.

Bosses insist compulsory redundancies remain a last resort as they looks to make savings by other means.

But this week, students have been warned to expect disruption as staff stage further walk-outs over the proposals.
