Revealed: Which Norfolk schools were hardest to get into this year?
Ormiston Venture Academy in Gorleston was statistically the toughest high school in Norfolk to secure places at for the current academic year.
The school offered 167 spots for its 2024/25 new intake, but was listed as the top choice of 276 prospective pupils.
It meant 109 families were left disappointed, almost 40pc of applicants.
Ormiston Venture emerged as the toughest to get into ahead of traditionally more sought after schools, such as at Wymondham College and Notre Dame High School in Norwich.
