Following the government's announcement that it plans to abolish NHS England, health bosses across the country have been ordered to drastically reduce management costs.

This has seen all integrated care boards (ICBs) - the bodies responsible for commissioning and organising local NHS services - told to cut their running costs in half.

It had widely been expected that Norfolk and Waveney's ICB would merge with the neighbouring boards in Suffolk and North Essex, with Ed Garratt already appointed........
