Iain Bond died in hospital four days after taking an overdose of prescription medication. He was 77.

An inquest into his death concluded he had died by suicide, having been found unresponsive in his Hellesdon home the day he was due to set off on a trip to Bolivia.

The court heard Mr Bond had told relatives the day before his trip had been cancelled, but enquiries with the holiday firm confirmed........
