Those living on roads near the Whiffler in Hellesdon say patrons visiting the pub park along nearby streets, including on verges, even if there are spaces available in the pub's car park.

In some cases, drivers have been spotted parking on the corners of the City View Road junction, making it dangerous for people trying to turn onto the main road.

Bosses for the national chain say they are working to agree "technical details" with Norfolk County Council before work can proceed with a £1.2m revamp project on the pub's beer garden, which will also include adding 16 more parking spaces to its car park.
