Norfolk County Council put in the safety measure on the B1146 last April as part of a wider series of changes, which also included a zebra crossing.
The total project cost £216,343, of which £4,400 was spent on the speed bump.
Work to remove the speed bump began on February 17 (Image: Newsquest) The road is near to Northgate High School and officials hoped it would make the area safer for students, and others, crossing the road.
