Owners of city centre shop prohibited from illuminating sign on their store front
Hicham El Aouissi submitted a retrospective planning application to keep a fascia sign on the outside of his business, Casablanca, in Castle Meadow.
The sign is two metres long with internally fluorescent tubes and spans the width of the building.

One of the conditions is that the sign is never to be lit up.
Agents for Mr El Aouissi have lodged an appeal........
