Neighbours fear being 'stranded' ahead of major bus route suspension
Locals living in Easton - a village six miles west of Norwich - say the First Bus Excel service, which travels between the city and Peterborough, is depended on by students, workers and families.

But the service to Easton will be stopped between July 1 and the end of the year while the A47 roundabout is closed amid National Highways upgrade works.
Neighbours say the alternative, using KonectBus which also travels to the village, is infrequent and will not be able to cope with the demand of the village's growing population.

'This will leave us stranded'
Adam Johnstone, who lives in Easton, relies on the service to take his five-year-old son, Archie, to his hospital appointments and on trips to west Norfolk.
Mr Johnstone, who has had issues with KonectBus after a driver refused to let him and his son off, said: "I genuinely think Archie will be trapped in Easton."
