Funding fears raised for centre where over 55s love to meet
Dereham Meeting Point, a charity centre where people aged over 55 can meet to socialise, has raised concerns about its future after Norfolk County Council (NCC) said it will be "assessing the level of support that is required".
NCC currently contributes £30,000 annually to Dereham Meeting Point as a subsidy top-up payment to allow the charity to meet its running costs.
