Matthew Homes Ltd, which was given permission to build 48 homes in Dereham, says the development is no longer financially viable if 10 of the homes are offered as affordable ones.

Instead, the company, which has a head office in Hertfordshire, wants to put all the houses up for market sale.

In 2019, the developer was given permission to build the homes on land off Greenfields Road in the market........
