But a group of villagers who came together to stage free events in Hopton is facing dwindling funds – and an uncertain future.

The Hopton Residents Events Committee was formed during the first lockdown in 2020.

Founding members Ian and Carole Wall started organising events to help break the monotony of Covid lockdowns and boost people's wellbeing with online quizzes and a dance on your doorstep challenge.
