On Saturday, June 6, Genna Brown celebrated turning 108 at the Pier Hotel in Gorleston, where she has enjoyed a Sunday lunch every week for the past 40 years.

The party, a surprise event, was organised by hotel manager Margaret Goss.

She said it was a "perfect celebration" as family, friends and hotel staff soaked up "the feel-good vibe from all the love for this lady".
