Tributes paid after sudden death of 'lovely' long-serving Norfolk councillor
Michael Chenery, who held the title of Baron Chenery of Horsburgh, died at his home in North Creake, near Fakenham, at the weekend.
Baron Chenery had been the Conservative county councillor for Norfolk County Council's Docking division from 2009 until last month.
He had stood for re-election in the division he had represented for 17 years at May's County Hall elections, but finished third, behind winning Reform UK candidate Julie Costley and independent Terry Parish.
