Plans to replace the existing Wymondham Recycling Centre with a new one in nearby Spooner Row are due to be discussed by members of Norfolk County Council's planning committee by "late summer".

Wymondham has been in line to get a replacement recycling centre for several years, because hundreds of new homes are due to be built in and near the town.

At that time, County Hall revealed it wanted to move the tip from its current site at Strayground Lane to a new home, south of the town, near Spooner Row, on the B1172.

But the scheme got caught up in delays because of the Covid pandemic and what the council described as........
