Cameras and speed reduction for A47 scrapped after council objection
The authority had objected to proposals to reduce the limit from 60mph to 50mph and to install speed cameras between Little Fransham and the Dereham bypass.
Graham Plant, cabinet member for highways, transport and infrastructure, had said the full dualling of the A47 is the way to make the road safer in the long-term, rather than cutting speed.
