Norfolk MP calls for '180-degree, tyre-screeching reset' of farm policy
Mid Norfolk MP George Freeman, a former science minister who now chairs the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology in Agriculture, spoke at Agri-TechE’s Challenge Convention event at NIAB (the National Institute of Agricultural Botany) in Cambridge.
He announced next steps in the group's "30:50:50" vision - to increase food production by 30pc by 2050 while reducing farming’s environmental footprint by 50pc.
