Farmer to sell 'wonderfully historic' vintage tractors he collected for 60 years

More than 150 lots including classic tractors, combine harvesters, steam engines and agricultural bygones are being sold by avid collector Tom Randell.

East Anglian auction firm Cheffins will host the online sale on its website from August 25 to September 1, with a viewing day on August 27 at Mr Randell's farm at Skeyton near North Walsham.

Highlights include a 1937 Lanz Bulldog Model N tractor, which has an estimate of £25,000, a 1944 Marshall Model M tractor for £18,000 and a rare 1920s Hanomag tractor fitted with a Karl Ritscher ditch cleaning attachment, which is expected to fetch £10,000.

There is also a 1900 Davey Paxman portable steam engine, one of the earliest known examples from the Colchester-based manufacturer, which has a pre-sale........
