Norfolk fields ablaze with colour as bright red blooms herald summer's return

Dazzling displays of Norfolk's favourite flower have appeared in the west of the county and on the coast as the first swallows skim the skies.

Photographer Julie Smart from Grimston, near King's Lynn, captured these stunning shots - and even snapped a deer pausing to admire the view.

Another a few miles away at Anmer has also burst into colour.
