The Le Strange Estate has been given planning permission for 21 new timber properties amid the dunes at Old Hunstanton.

Some 16 will be built between existing properties opposite the Le Strange Hotel and five north of the Hunstanton Golf Club.

A planning statement said the work will be phased over two years, with parts made off-site ready for assembly.

"The application is of a small scale," it added. "It introduces additional beach hut structures and recreational uses which are already prevalent in this area of Old Hunstanton Beach.
