Former high sheriff's bid to extend garden gets the nod after prickly planning row
West Norfolk Council's planning committee was urged to turn down David Flux's application to turn part of a field near his home at Ashwicken Hall, near King's Lynn into a garden.
An officer's report said it would create "an incongruous form of development" and erode the character of the countryside".
