The Sommerfeld and Thomas building beside the Ouse at King's Lynn has stood empty for decades.

West Norfolk Council, which owns the property, began marketing it four years ago in the hope of attracting a partner willing to regenerate the site.

Now it has emerged that talks are under way with a potential developer over the future of the towering structure.
