Kate Wilkin has applied to change the use of the building beside her house at Pott Row, near King's Lynn.

A planning statement says the business on Chapel Road will be "low-intensity" serving a limited number of dogs.

It says it will operate on an appointment-only basis for up to four pets a day and be open from 9am - 5pm Mondays to Fridays and on alternate Saturdays.

It will offer "typical dog grooming services" including bathing, drying, coat trimming and nail clipping.

A planning statement says noise will be "low and intermittent" because dogs will be on their own and indoors, with windows closed.

Animals will not be allowed outside and waste will be taken away by a licensed commercial carrier.
