New book charts history of coastal village - all the way back to the Ice Age
Nick Torry has spent almost 20 years researching the story of the village from the Ice Age to the present day.
His work Hunstanestune was unveiled to villagers at a special signing on Sunday.
Retired headteacher Mr Torry, 85, began his research after becoming involved in local affairs, having moved to the village from Essex with his wife Lynne in 2002.

Mr Torry said after compiling booklets for the parish council and church along with other research including the Le Strange Archives at the Norfolk Records Office in Norwich, he decided to pull all of the material he had gathered over the years together in a single volume.
He admits the project has taken him a bit of a while.
"There have been some super books about different eras in the history of Old Hunstanton, but there's nothing that goes all the way through," he said. "It's been a bit of an adventure.
"One reason it took so long is I didn't do it every day, every week. I've done it in bursts because I have other interests other than history. I'm in the King's Lynn Festival Chorus, I'm also a keen bird watcher."
