Joy Middleditch, 82, was discovered on the floor of her bungalow in Grayson Avenue, Pakefield, Lowestoft by concerned family members some 12 hours after she was burgled and robbed.

She died two days later in hospital on March 27, 2023, with her death rocking the community.

The boys, aged 16 and 17 and who cannot be named for legal reasons, were sentenced to two years in a youth detention centre by District Judge Kenneth Sheraton for robbing their victim.
