The East Anglia branch of Action Against Animal Cruelty plans to demonstrate their views outside the Yarmouth Stadium in Caister Road at an auction being held on Thursday, May 15.

A spokeswoman said: "On Thursday, May 15, around fifty greyhounds will arrive at Yarmouth Stadium to be auctioned off to the highest bidder, after trialling.

"A small group will be attending outside the stadium to demonstrate peacefully against this industry practice, which we believe has no place in a modern society.

"We believe that animals should not be used for human entertainment.
