Councillors have been told to arrive early for a full council meeting after campaigners announced a demonstration against the proposed development near Keswick.

In an email seen by this newspaper, it is understood that the authority is liaising with police.

A spokesperson for the force said it was "aware the protest is due to take place" and would "be monitoring" it.
