Terry Jermy, who was part of the 2024 intake when Labour took power, says Sir Keir Starmer should "consider whether he is the right person" to lead the party forward.

"I am naturally disappointed by the local results and the wider results around the country for the Labour Party."

The South West Norfolk MP added the local elections "should not be viewed as a mid-term blip".

Pressure is mounting on the PM after Labour lost almost 1,500 seats across the country, including on Norwich City Council and Norfolk County Council.
