Delme Thompson, a South Norfolk Conservative councillor for Dickleburgh, had sought permission to build bungalows in the village which he represents.

However, his proposals have been squashed after they were rejected by his colleagues at a meeting of the authority’s planning committee on Wednesday (July 29).
