Bryan Field, 64, of Albion Road in Great Yarmouth, appeared at Peterborough Crown Court on Tuesday where, following a two-week trial, he was convicted of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm and two counts of possession of a bladed article.

The court heard how on February 11, Field attended Shangri-La Farm in Todds Green, near Stevenage, looking for his estranged wife.

He found her car, so assuming she was inside, he entered the office of a business where she worked........
