Storm-toppled tree saga between bowls club and council reaches conclusion

The row began in December when strong winds brought down a large tree from the grounds of Dereham St Nicholas Bowls Club during Storm Darragh.

The tree landed across Wakes Lane alley, which runs between the club and St Nicholas House Residential Care Home, causing damage to the home’s wall and a tree on its own grounds.
