A chorus of bell-ringing and booming voices echoed through the streets as town criers from across the UK descended on a seaside town to compete for a prestigious title.

Cromer was treated to a vibrant spectacle as town criers gathered to compete in the Loyal Company of Town Criers British Championship 2025.

The competition began with a colourful “bells-up” parade through the town, as the criers marched in full regalia to the Cromer Pier forecourt.
