North Norfolk District Council has approved plans submitted by Damira Dental Studios to build an additional surgery at Wells Community Hospital.

The dental practice, which is based at the hospital, says it already has 1,600 patients in the area on its waiting list.

Its proposed development is a single-storey, timber-framed building covering 40 square metres at the rear of The Old Cottage Hospital.
