A planning application has been lodged with Broadland District Council to redevelop the old Barclays branch in Aylsham's Market Place into 11 new flats.

The scheme, submitted on behalf of Steve Gaskin of Gaskin Builders, would see four one-bedroom and seven two-bedroom homes created, along with a smaller commercial unit on the ground floor.

Barclays closed the branch on January 11, 2022, and the building has remained empty ever since.
