Bid to turn former care home into 16 new flats dismissed on appeal
Paul Bartholomew had hoped to convert the Old Rectory, on Aylsham Road in Felmingham, into 20 flats, later reducing the number to 16.
North Norfolk District Council rejected the scheme last year, citing concerns over drainage, protected trees and the possible presence of bats.
The applicant appealed, but following a site visit by a planning inspector last month, the appeal has now been dismissed.
