Offshore wind cluster outlines its vision for 2025
Denise Hone and Esmee Thornton, chair and vice-chair of EastWind, emphasised the need for a louder regional voice at the cluster’s Powering Up 2025 event in late January.
The pair called for increased government support and committed to lobbying for greater government recognition of the region’s critical role in the renewable energy transition.
Ms Hone reflected on the strong year the cluster had in 2024, saying she wants to build on this momentum in the coming year.
Key focuses included her vision for legacy projects for the cluster, creating measurable impacts, having a louder and clearer voice........
