Cadeler grew its fleet from five to 10 wind installation vessels in 2025, increasing its net profit to €280 million (£242m), up from €65m (£56m) the previous year.

The Danish company, headquartered in Copenhagen, specialises in the construction, maintenance and decommissioning of offshore wind farms.

Last November, the company relocated its UK-based team from Great Yarmouth's South Beach Parade, near the town's port, to larger offices at St Andrews Business Park in Norwich.

In its annual report, published this week, Cadeler reported revenue of €620m (£536m) for the full year 2025, compared to €249m (£215m) in 2024.

EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) reached €425m (£367m), up from €126m (£109m).

Mikkel Gleerup, Cadeler's CEO, said 2025 was a "defining year" for the company.

"We doubled the size of our fleet on the water while maintaining strong utilisation and delivering substantial growth in both revenue and profitability," he said.

"At the same time, we expanded our strategic capabilities across the offshore wind value chain, including by strengthening our presence in the growing operations and maintenance segment.”

Later this year, Cadeler will begin transporting and installing the foundations for Ørsted’s Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm, located 75 miles off the Norfolk coast in the North Sea.

Once complete, it will be the world's largest offshore wind farm, generating enough energy to power more than three million UK homes.

Cadeler's new Norwich office is supporting projects across the UK and Europe, serving as a central hub for its engineering, project management and commercial teams.

The global firm has offices in Denmark, the UK, USA, Taiwan and Japan.
