Pleasurewood Hills to spend more than £1m on star attraction rollercoaster
The Lowestoft theme park’s seven-figure investment will be spent on repairs and updates to the track of the rollercoaster, as well as adding a new station, queue line and photobooth.
A new train will also replace the old carriage, with waist supports replacing the current over-the-shoulder restraints to improve comfort while raising the intensity of the ride.
Wipeout is the region’s largest rollercoaster and the UK’s last remaining Vekoma Boomerang – a coaster design where a train is pulled backwards up a hill and then released forward before repeating the track layout backwards.
