Norfolk MP issues Budget warning amid concern for his constituency
North West Norfolk MP James Wild is urging Labour to drop its National Insurance increases for businesses, which will see employers’ NI contributions rise from 13.8pc to 15pc from next month.
The threshold for NI payments has also been lowered from £9,100 to £5,000, meaning three quarters of a million jobs in the UK’s hospitality sector will be subject to employer NI for the first time.
