Malcolm Grainge was holidaying in Bitez in the Muğla Province of Turkey, Suffolk Coroners’ Court was told on Wednesday.

The 74-year-old and his wife, Lesley, were enjoying soft drinks at a beachside café, and Mr Grainge left his wife sitting on a sunbed while he wandered along the seafront, saying he wanted to take pictures.

Knowing her husband’s sociable nature, Mrs Grainge was not concerned when he took some time. After an hour, however,........
