Coventry Live readers have been voicing their opinions on the recent reports about Coventry MP Taiwo Owatemi's housing expenditures. The Labour MP has faced criticism for utilising taxpayer money to cover the cost for her pet dog's accommodation at her second home in London.
Taiwo, who represents Coventry North West and serves as Lord Commissioner of HM Treasury, successfully claimed £900 annually in rent to enable her dog Bella to stay with her. This claim was made and sanctioned shortly after Labour's election victory.
