The question that should come to everyone's mind is, why? Why would the mayor of any city take down the mural of a murder victim? That’s the question that liberal nerd Brett Smiley needs to answer. Smiley is the mayor of Providence, RI, and the mural in question is one of Iryna Zarutska, the beautiful young Ukrainian who was stabbed and slashed to death in Charlotte, North Carolina, on a light rail train.

The attack took place last August, when Decarlos Brown Jr., a 34-year-old with a long criminal history and 14 prior arrests, including a 2015 conviction for robbery with a dangerous weapon, attacked Zarutska in an unprovoked attack from behind, leaving her bleeding out in the aisle.

The murals are being painted in places across the country in tribute to Zarutska, and as a reminder that senseless violence has no place in American society, but Providence Democrat Mayor Brett Smiley slammed the mural honoring her as “divisive and said it does not represent Providence.”

So, according to Smiley, downplaying senseless violence is divisive?

No, what Smiley doesn’t like is that this was a black violent criminal, who was released time after time by liberal........
