Cambridgeshire Live readers have been airing their grievances regarding the new parking system at Milton Country Park, with a wave of discontent sweeping through the comments. The Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust, responsible for the park's management, has rolled out a new method for parking fees.

Patrons of Milton Country Park are up in arms over parking fines. Recent changes have left many visitors confused and angry after receiving fines.

One reader, Cambsmike, says: "The Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust, which runs the park, is going to find visitor numbers drop significantly due to this horrendous parking system. Of all the ways to pay for parking, an app or an online process does not work for many. And it does take much longer than 5 minutes to find a space, park and work out how to pay (if the 'app' allows you to, as many have found out it doesn't).

"I don't use a 'smart phone' with 'apps', and many who have received fines have found the apps don't work properly anyway! The much-loved and valued facility is being made........
