As Kier Starmer rules out winter fuel payments U-turn - have your say!

Keir Starmer has come under fire for not reconsidering the reduction of winter fuel payments affecting millions of pensioners, despite growing criticism from Labour MPs and warnings of political consequences from activists if the benefits aren't reinstated.

Following last week's local elections, where Labour experienced setbacks partly attributed to displeasure with winter fuel payment cuts, Health Secretary Wes Streeting acknowledged the role of public disapproval in affecting the party's performance.

The loss of the formerly secure Runcorn and Helsby seat to Nigel Farage's Reform UK has been pointed out by Labour MPs as an example of the negative impact on the party.

As Keir Starmer faces a Labour backlash after ruling out a U-turn on winter fuel payments, we ask has he made the right decision?
