Cambridgeshire Live readers have been having their say on the announcement that the 40mph speed restriction on the A1307 is to be scrapped. Stances ranged from calling for more inclusive highway strategies to criticisms of current policies.

After being in effect for over four years, Cambridgeshire County Council has announced that the 40mph speed limit on a section of the A1307 is expected to be lifted by the end of the summer. The limit was originally put in place between Godmanchester and Huntingdon in the spring of 2021.........
