New A10 bridge deemed 'total waste of money' as work starts this month
Construction is set to commence this month on a new bridge spanning the A10, designed to facilitate pedestrians, cyclists, and horse riders. The bridge will serve as a link for the emerging Waterbeach development, connecting residents to Cambridge Science Park, Cambridge Regional College, and the city centre. Some CambridgeshireLive readers are unimpressed with the scheme.
Following archaeological surveys completed last year, initial work will involve building embankments and installing vehicle safety barriers, with "minimal disruption" expected for A10 users.
